United Now With All Trophies In The World.

We are in the Champions League in the right way and for me the right way is winning the Premier League or winning the Europa League. We were not strong enough to win the Premier League but we were strong enough to win the Europa League and we are back in the Champions League. The club now has every trophy in world football. We fought hard for this since the beginning. We totally deserved the win. I am so happy to see all the players, including the boys with the crutches, with the trophy."

THREE TROPHIES OUT OF FIVE THIS SEASON

"Wayne Rooney was ready to play, he was a big option. But I didn't need to attack at 2-0. I told him yesterday that he could be the key man but he can perfectly be here next season. He is a very important player for us. If he stays next season I'd be very happy."

Ndidi Fails To Convert From Close Range As Leicester Champions League Adventure Is Over

The only English Premier League team left in the UEFA Champions League Leicester City were knocked out of the competition on Tuesday night after losing 2-1 on aggregate to Atletico Madrid at Leicester City Stadium. The Foxes job to qualify for the semifinals got a whole lot tougher when they conceded in the 26th minute. Filipe Luis made a great cross to the far post and Saul Niguez's header, directed to perfection, beat Kasper Schmeichel, which meant the Spanish team led 2-0 on aggregate at that stage. Leicester City were given some hope when Jamie Vardy scored in the 61st minute after picking up a loose ball. On 69 minutes, Wilfred Ndidi missed a big opportunity to give Leicester the lead but didn't have enough time to get a descent shot on target from inside the box. The attacking threat from Atletico Madrid was sparse in the second half but Vardy, Ulloa and Mahrez failed to convert Leicester City's chances.
