Vitamin that saves your eyesight

Image
the-vitamins-that-save-your-eyesight_300A condition called age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a leading cause of blindness as you age. To cut your risk of this vision loss, researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Harvard Medical School have found three vitamins that can boost eye health. In a study of more than 5,000 women age 40 and older, the scientists found that a combination of vitamins B6, B12 and folic acid appears to decrease the risk of AMD. “(Our) trial findings reported herein are the strongest evidence to date in support of a possible beneficial effect of folic acid and B vitamin supplements in AMD prevention,” the researchers report. To benefit from the B vitamins, you have to take them for years. In the study, women taking the vitamin supplements had a 34 percent lower risk of any AMD and a 41 percent lower risk of visually significant AMD. “The beneficial effect of treatment began to emerge at approximately two years of follow-up...

Afouda Hunger Initiative AFO-Hi.

Image
In Nigeria, hunger has being the word for  days, hunger is everywhere in Nigeria regardless of how civilized the area is, wether urban or rural area. Hunger has no limit, regard,or respect for anybody, no matter the person's status in life. No man in this world ever desire the visitation of hunger, but yet it will make way into man. In our society today, we are quick to believe someone cannot be a hunger victim, because of his material acquisitions. I knew of a family, the father struggles in France while his nuclear family is based in Nigeria. Many people  believed so far the father stays in France, the family is okay and well to do, whereas the family is bitterly and silently crying everyday in the corner of their room just to get to bread to eat. In recent research, compelling desire for food has become rampant and it is fast getting out of hand in our society. The rate at which people die of hunger is getting out of hand and uncontrollable. AFOUDA HUNGER INITIATIVE is sa...

Poetry; Someone Is Hungry

Image
At my tender age, empty stomach has been the watchword, nothing to feed on let alone chew. Within me are sorrows and bitterness of hunger. My destiny is sold for food, My birthright is out for bread, How wealthy I am in poverty! How loud I cry in my silence! Who will fight my stomach pain battle? Dwelling in pains of emptiness, When will my life expire? Oh Living dead of hunger! Silently I cry... Someone Is Hungry AFO-Hi GoldenArtConcept EazyPoet

But she peppered the speech with a series of strongly-worded criticisms of the Trump administration's conduct and policies, attacking its use of the term "alternative facts," its boasting about the size of the crowds at Trump's inauguration, its proposed budget, and Trump's use of the phrase "nasty woman" to refer to her in a debate. Clinton warned the students that they're "graduating at at time when there is a full-fledged assault on truth and reason." "When people in power invent their own facts a...
