CITY SANITATION

I wish i am the brain
That knows the ability of future
My mouth will utter the truth of the future
My nose will smell the danger of the future
My ear will hear the still voice of the future
My hand will drop the lethal weapon of the future.

I wish i am the  peace
That holds peace of the politicians
That I might severely depart from the wicked
That I might vehemently oppose the words of the fools
That I might gnaw the hole of their life
That I might banish thee from the city.

I wish I had authority
I will sentence the corrupt ones to life imprisonment
That I might burn the liars to ashes
That I might cast away the false prophets
That I might expose the secret of the imps
That I might stop lost of life and property
That the masses will be in joy forever
When will the saviour emerge?
Oh Living ancestor!

Fayose urges FG to upgrade‎ Ekiti prison

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose yesterday urged the Federal Government to as a matter of urgency, upgrade facilities in the prisons across the federation. The governor made the appeal when he visited the Federal Prisons in Ado-Ekiti to examine the facilities and to also pardon some inmates. However, the governor could not ensure the release of the inmates as the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Ayodeji Daramola, advised that some due process needed to be followed before he can veto their release. Some wives of the inmates, especially those whose husbands were in prison for crimes of political violence, knelt down and appealed to governor Fayose to release them. But the governor explained to them that his hands were tied because he had to follow due process and that he would have loved to release all inmates. Chelsea’s Kante wins PFA player of the year award for 2016-17

N’Golo Kante has won the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year award for 2016-17. The Chelsea midfielder, 26, beat Eden Hazard, Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Alexis Sanchez in the vote by his fellow players. Kante was key to Leicester’s surprise Premier League win last year and could become first player to achieve the distinction of winning successive titles with different clubs if Chelsea can stay ahead of Spurs in this season’s race. Since signing Kante in July, Chelsea have gone from a mid-table finish to the top of the pile with six games to play.
